The mission of the the Mississippi Counselors Political Action Committee (MCPAC) is to encourage the personal and professional development of counselors, to influence decisions that affect the counseling profession, and to promote progress, understanding and improvement of counseling.
MCPAC is not affiliated with the Mississippi Counseling Association (MCA). MCPAC does support the legislative goals and ideals of MCA. Many issues are being discussed in the Mississippi State Legislature that directly impact professional counselors. MCPAC works with MCA to support issues that affect counselors and counseling in Mississippi and that keep the role and function of counselors in the minds of our elected officials.
Many important issues will be discussed by our elected officials during this legislative term.
